Fear and superstition rule over the lives of those trapped in the great city of Hollowsgale. It's been a hundred years since the Invasion, and they are still caged like rats. A dangerous cult is growing. At its center is IT, the mechanical guardian of Hollowsgale.

After Jack witnesses a young girl being kidnapped by the cult, he is thrown into a tangled mess of events, leaving him with many questions. Are the Invaders still watching the city? Is Hollowsgale really as protected as it seems? What is the cult's real motive?

Is it safe to cross the Skybridge?

Before I begin, I just want to say that this story does include some mature themes. I will also give out a warning a chapter prior to these scenes. Getting that out of the way, let's go onto the story description... *This book contains explicit content* *EXTRACT FROM THE BOOK* I stared at him, cooking and whistling, something that I could not do, or should I say, wasn't bothered to do. I decided to move away and to try and find an exit but I didn't even take one step back when I heard his voice. "Princess? Is that you?" I saw him raise his head before shooting his eyes onto me. The sudden gaze caused to heart to race while it froze my body as if I have turned into ice. I felt the fear engulf my body, eating me inside out. "You aren't scared of me... Are you?" he asked me, I sensed the envy in his voice. That mixed with his harsh tone caused a wave of goosebumps to course through my body. I wanted to begin by asking him where was I? Why was I here? Why was he here... I wanted to ask him, but I couldn't, the fear was just all too much for me. "Come on... Speak to me... Ask me..." he began. "Ask me 'why am I here' and all of that crap... Entertain me with your fear." I saw him slowly gripping a knife that was on the countertop, with his eyes still on mine. The sides of his mouth slowly began tilting upwards. All the bitterness and the cold, it was all so visible in his eyes. I looked at him in horror, noticing him as he took his first steps towards me. "Talk to me... Because this might be the only time you will ever be able to talk, " he said this sentence in such a calm tone, it caused me once again to shiver with goosebumps. "W-what do you mean...". Never in my life have I stuttered, until then.

WRITER'S NOTE: Hi, I just wanted to notify you really quickly that I'm actually rewriting this ENTIRE series, considering I was twelve when I started it and I was fourteen when I left everyone hanging. I have released the prologue to the book which is only about two pages long. I will try to release at least one chapter a week, meaning a new chapter will be coming up tomorrow or at the very least this weekend. The book is simply named Daughter of the Labyrinth (The Rewritten) It would mean the world to me if you checked it out and let me know if you like it Thanks for reading When the young Sarah saved her baby brother and returned home, She kept thinking about the labyrinth and Jareth. One night when she was 19 years old she wished to visit Jareth in his castle and became pregnant without Jareth knowing. When the baby was born she decided to name the girl Thelma Lind but sent the child away to a small unnoticable country in the north known as Iceland. When the girl is turning 12 turning 13 she starts to feel strange. She watched a movie called Labyrinth and she felt a slight connection to it. She had never resembled her siblings nor her parents. Both her parents had always had bright hair but she had a lovely golden blonde, and her parents were quite small. Then her parents inform her that she is adopted and was to spend time with her birth mother that night. Sarah had always wanted to protect Thelma from Jareth's cruel ways but what happens when Jareth finds out that Sarah has been hiding her from him...

***This is considered the second book to Labyrinth: Saving the Fallen City. You will be able to read this if you haven't read the first book with only minimal confusion.*** Elliana never understood why her parents trained her at such a young age with a sword and bow and arrow. Or, why her parents drilled into her twin brother's head that they were to never leave each other and always take care of one another, no matter what. She was just a princess and future Queen of the High Kingdom right? Soon enough, she will learn that she has had a red dot pointed at her heart since before she was even born. Elliana finds the line of good and bad blurred sometimes, but she isn't aware that it is because someone has put a speck of darkness in her heart and it will only show when she turns sixteen years old. Leegan has always protected his twin sister. When he was only ten years old, he overheard his parents talking about an evil man that would come for his sister. Since then, he has trained with the most elite to help protect his best friend/sister. He never thought the day when his sister would disappear would be so soon. If the man who promised Leegan's mother through dreams that he would steal Elliana away didn't kill or harm his sister, the wicked creature that was traveling with her would. Leegan's training never mattered more than it did now.
