(I know there's a lot of these but, I wanted to write a...better one? I guess.)

Marinette has a secret, well, besides being Paris' superheroine Ladybug. She is also princess and heir to the throne of China and when her birthday arrives, it will be time for her to become crown princess. Her class gets an invited to watch the Princess's crowning, though no one's ever seen her before. Drama ensues and when Marinette is crowned, what will happen? How will her fellow classmates react?

This story is currently on hiatus! Shouldn't be for too long but I will not be actively continuing the story for a bit! Maybe a chapter or two here and there

"royalty is a dark curse under a jewelled veil" Marinette Dupain Cheng has secrets. Quite a lot of them, more than she should have. She is Ladybug; The Parisian superheroine that battles daily against powerful supervillains with her partner, her identity secured by a polka dotted mask. But while her partner is just like every other teenager under the mask, Marinette wears another facade beneath her alter-ego's magical suit. A Princess undercover as a Parisian teenager. The Princess of China. Forced to leave China due to the threat of rebels, the royal family of China camouflages under their disguise of being bakers. But their time of stepping back up in front of their people isn't far away as Princess Marinette's eighteenth birthday approaches. Along with her eighteenth birthday, comes Marinette's coronation. What happens when the Queen makes the mistake of sending the invitations of the coronation to Marinette's oblivious friends? And their plan of disappearing from France quietly goes down the drain as her friends follow them to China, making it harder to keep her identity a secret. Let's add boy troubles, liars, rich blonde brats, nosy friends, ready-to-kill rebels and oh, not to forget, a homicidal cousin. Sounds like a party, huh? Can Marinette sort things out in a messy whirlwind where every aspect of her life is thrown together to make a detestable mixture? [tw: strong language, mild violence, mentions of death and gore, panic attacks]

C O M P L E T E D βœ•β™›βœ•β™•βœ• "What about the promise we made when we were kids, Mari," He smiled. I felt shocked he remembered my nickname. That smile.. A sudden wave of realisation washed over me, taking my wrist back. "That promise died on the day you told me you never wanted to see me again, Adrien" I spat his name out like a disease. I stormed out slamming the door, "Our friendship died on the day you told me you never wanted to see me again." I muttered βœ•β™›βœ•β™•βœ• Adrien and Marinette have been friends since they were kids, well used to be. It changed when Adrien lost his mother, blocking everyone out and getting involved with the wrong people. Soon taking his anger out on Marinette, let's say it didn't end well and she now hates him because of that. He was soon your typical player, he gets laid and the others get played as they say. Making out in the Halls, soon followed by who knows what in the janitors closet. Marinette simply hated him, not only for hurting her in the past, but just playing with peoples heart like a toy from his parents. She wasn't exactly a so called nerd, but more what people call her a Princess. Not because she's a picky person but more of because she has a heart of gold, willing to help everyone, everyone BUT Adrien. Both hated each other, probably the one thing they have in common. It changed when they were assigned dorms, lucky for Marinette she got the one and only Player of the entire school. Will the two finally find out the reason behind each other's actions? Or will they forever be at each other's throats? This is the story of the Player and The Princess βœ•β™›βœ•β™•βœ• Edit: AND YES I AM EXTREMELY AWARE THAT THERE IS ANOTHER BOOK WITH THE SAME TITLE etgshhs I didn't realise this until now I feel like I copied someone I SWEAR I DIDNT I MADE THIS ENTIRE PLOT MYSELF Ranks: (In Fanfiction) #443 #634? #743 #800 Tags: mlb - #6 (thank you so much??) adrienette - #3 (omg) Started:10/01/18 Ended:12/06/18
