Avery Davies is a worldwide respected detective. After solving 79 cases in only a year, wouldn't you be too? But when she is assigned a murder mystery, she is thrown in for a loop. This particular killer has been killing people one by one, in the dead of night. She is quick to narrow it down to one person - Alan Gordon, her ex boyfriend who she suspects is out for revenge. No one seems to agree with her, stating he is innocent.
