Honesty is the Best Policy! {w/Rosy}
This story focuses on Rosy the Rascal and her conflict with a green pineapple. I am going to try not to stray from this topic by accidentally studying other characters and relationships (though I'll have to admit that Shadow and Rouge and Shadow and Infinite are a little tempting). To sum up Honesty is the Best Policy as a whole, it is a fanfiction turned psychological drama. It is separated into several different stories, each new story continuing from where the previous one stops. Some are called {____ Edition}, while others are called {w/____}. The editions are books focusing on a specific situation, problem, or occurring at a specific time. Books ending with "w/" and then a character's name are focusing on a specific character. At the same time as I'm publishing new parts of this story, you will find that another story is being updated as well, {Café Edition}. It is recommended that you follow that book as well as this one in order to get the full story. Both that story and this one are happening at the same time. The characters work at the café in the afternoons and go to school during the day. The previous books, in order, are as follows: {w/Sonic}, {w/Snow}, and {Forces Edition}, with {Café Edition} occurring all throughout these books beginning with {w/Snow}. My next book is called Rouge Tape. It is not a part of this series. Instead, it is a written form of the game Shadow the Hedgehog (2005) in which I attempt to piece everything together by inserting a new character, Rouge the Bat, in order to observe and recount the events. If you are confused about any of the characters in this story, please visit my OC book. I will be posting descriptions of the Sonic characters as they appear in my stories as well as some of my own characters. Timeline of Errors
The story is set two years after our protagonists ran away from the crumbling building. Borderline depressed, empty, and disconnected, Valen ceased all forms of battling due to a newfound fear for violence and took up a corporate job. Unfortunately, that was not all she stood to lose as a mysterious power affected the Pokemon Centres and Pokeballs to enforce permadeaths. It is as it was foretold: the curtains will not close until a hero is no more. A bit of a warning, it's meant to be a rather absurd, edgy story of how bad things just happen, people are just doing whatever, and how people are pushed to be "saviours", but some may also find it sort of depressing. I've been told that I describe my thoughts in an uncomfortably visceral way which I never realised. So, if you feel sick, please stop reading right away. Disclaimer: I do not own any of the Pokemon appearing in the story nor the items (Pokeball, Potions, gym badges, etc.) or moveset and some location (Sunnyshore City) as they belong to Gamefreak and Nintendo. However, all of the characters are mine, with inclusion of an invention (The Flying Flower) and a new territory where the story is set.Complete

Being transparent, this story is an MLP fanfic that started out as a pet project of mine, but I finished it a few days ago, and I felt it's finally time I share it. Sure, it starts out with typical "OC meets canon character" stuff, but it gets good, I swear! Seriously, this story gets quite insane by the end, and while I don't blame you if you don't read every single chapter... at least read the tenth chapters, because that's usually where it gets the most insane. I might even upload said tenth chapters before the others because... well, I'm going to be rewriting a lot of stuff, and I'm not gonna make you wait to get to the good parts. By the way, the story contains a lot of No More Heroes/Bayonetta influences, and some Devil May Cry ones earlier on. Also, please keep in mind that while I do try to write the characters canon to the show as accurately as I can, I try to write them with a bit more sincerity, as if they're people instead of cartoon ponies. Then again, take my attempt at a more realistic portrayal of the characters with a grain of salt. I'm still an amateur writer after all, so whether or not the characters do actually act like more realistic versions of the characters from the show is up to you to judge.
