This story is heavily based on the Movie "Cyberbully" which is an amazing movie, I highly recommend it. Almost everything about this story is the same as the movie except the characters and some of the dialogue. Also, the movie is probably a million times better than this story but I just loved the movie so much I decided to write it as a book in hanfic form. (Yay go hanfic) so yes, almost none of the ideas in this book are mine, I just loved the story line. Also, I realize Myspace was not a thing in 1997, when this story is taking place, but let's just all use our imagination and pretend :p

"I wanted to te-" His eyes began to water and as a single tear fell he looked at me and said "but what if you've been lying for so long you don't know how to tell the truth?" I wrote this when I was like 15 so it's awful and horribly inaccurate regarding lots of stuff and the characters are really, really annoying. If it didn't have so many reads and votes and that I would delete it. PLEASE, if you want something with better writing and still full of angst, look at my other fics instead (Tempest is my fav) // Harry is upset, he just wants someone to care about him but he keeps pushing everyone away. Mystique Amberson is a Senior in high school and lives with her older stepsister who has never had to work a day in her life and after she became eighteen, she started having guys buy her things. Since both their parents are gone and don't really pay attention to either one of them, they just send them money every month while they travel. Mystique can't wait for when she graduates in a few months because she would be able to leave finally with the money she has saved up from her job and be able to travel for a bit before going to college. She feels things are going as planned and soon won't have to deal with her step sister's bullying as well as her other school bully who happens to like her stepsister. One day, she gets paired up with her bully to help work on a project and they end up working on the project at her house so he can try to get with her stepsister. Then to make things worse, she ends up hearing throughout the school that his older brother, Benson who has a reputation as being a ruthless and heartless player/leader of a biker gang, was coming back. The biggest problem with that is she always has had a crush on him. Little does she know the REAL reason he has returned home. The whole badboy look and attitude could be the 'old' him or maybe he never changed. Charles inserts himself into a dating simulator where the main love interest commits suicide. His main objective is to stop the main character from dying, but he continuously fails at this. He starts doing more drastic things as he resets his game save file repeatedly, but the world cannot handle all the tampering he has done. It's only a matter of time before the code itself fails to continue. TW: Suicide, dark themes, heartbreak, and general sadness. Metanote: Suicide, suicidal thoughts, and the lack of consideration for suicide (usually by people joking about it) has been detrimental in my life, and it's taken away a lot of the spirit in me. This story is not meant to glorify suicide, but rather, to show the constant pain that it can leave people with. I am not saying that those who committed suicide are somehow "evil," but I am saying that there are real-world consequences for those who are left behind. He doesn't care about popularity and thinks it's amusing more than ever to see the girls want him. He tries to mind his own business and isn't interested in getting too attached and involved with anyone. So he just messes around. That is, until he meets the new girl who immediately draws his attention and makes him instantly intrigued. It's hard for him to trust anyone other than his close friends and she doesn't trust anybody, including guys. Can they help each other out? Can he help save her from herself?
