The Black Knight

Her name was Theresa Rubel, but everyone called her Trubel. She had survived it all - finding out that she was a Grimm, being attacked by a myriad of creatures that shouldn't exist, and much more. Throughout her many struggles and adventures, she carried with her a Black Knight chess piece. In this short story based on the hit Drama/Fantasy NBC Series, Grimm, we find out why. We go back in time to before Trubel found out she was a Grimm and live through a single day of what it was like at the Milford State Mental Institution.
