I have tried to create the scene of Sirius Black's great escape from Azkaban . It was stated in the books that he turned into a dog and escaped. The question arises - Why only after thirteen years ? He could have had turned into a big hound and escaped Azkaban the next day he was got there . But what happened ? Why did he wait for 13 years ?

Everyone deserves a second chance
Sirius did something that he would never ever ever do, but he did it anyway. He broke Remus and his own heart, and as his world is slowly crumbling around him, he has to pick it all back up again single handed. After pulling "the prank" against Snape in his fifth year, he doesn't realize how much his actions would hurt Remus and he can't stop them until it's much too late to do anything about it.
