Kelsie Reynolds is 12 years old and loving life in her hometown of Toronto, Canada. That is until her family has to move to the town of Greenwich because her dad got a job offer that's really important to him. Kelsie tries her best to be happy but this meant leaving behind all of her friends, whom she has known since they met in first grade. Moving also meant that she would have to make a bunch of new friends and go to a new school.
On her first day of seventh grade, she meets Riley Matthews and Maya Hart. She also meets the girls' friend Farkle Minkus, who is one of the smartest kids in the seventh grade. Kelsey also befriends the other two new guys, Lucas Friar and reconnects with her old friend, Hardin McCabe.

Friendships will form, romance will blossom, enemies will be made, and of course drama will be mixed in as well. Follow Keslie, Riley, Maya, Farkle, Lucas, and Hardin in this somewhat crazy and fun-filled adventure as they journey through the seventh grade and make their way to the end of their primary school days in "New Girl, New World."
