Stolen Youth
I want to tell you all the story of my life. I went through a great deal of trauma from being bullied to being abused, neglected, and so on. I also hope my story will help others come out and speak about their experiences with being bullied, abused, etc. Please read with caution, as this story contains triggers such as self-harm, abuse, depression, bullying, etc. Please be respectful about my and others' stories who have also experienced the same things.
On The Edge
On The Edge is an original script that I decided to write as part of my personal project for school. This play falls under the category of play of ideas. If you don't know what that means, it means that this play highlights social issues of today. In order to write this play, I had to research suicide, depression, social anxiety, bullying, and bipolar disorder and embed what I learned into characters. I researched using the internet as well as interviewing people that I know who deal with some of these issues. By writing this, I wanted to educate myself as well as spread awareness about these issues. I hope that if you are someone who deals with these issues that this play can help you know that you are not alone and help show that you have options to get help. I hope that if you are someone who knows another dealing with these issues that this play can help you better understand how you can be there for them and help them. This script is technically finished, but i will continue to edit it to make it better. I will edit based on the critiques i receive on here and well personal goals on how I want to change it. She tucked her auburn hair tighter into a bun and searched for the next class when she passed a group of boys right outside the designated class. Clutching her hand inside the sweatshirt pocket, she watched as the bulky brown haired boy slammed his fist against the wall right beside the poor boy's face, glaring as the boy flinched, slumping his head further down. "What are you looking at!" He snapped, noticing the unfamiliar girl stood watching them. "Is this rude guy bothering you?" She ignored, asking the poor boy instead, earning a scoff from the baffled brown haired boy. Their first encounter was of mutual dislike. As they continue to bicker and argue on every possible occasion, Jason could not help but felt rather intrigued with Alison.
