Both Loki and Winter appear again, causing the Avengers to have to come together and fight. However, during the fight, the infamous Black Widow, known to the Avengers as Natasha Romanoff, is taken hostage. When she returns, she is not quite herself.
Captain America is the only Avenger she lets even remotely close to her. All the walls she let down are back up again, blocking off anyone who might be able to help her.
Meanwhile, S.H.I.E.L.D has another mission for the Avengers. Unfortunately, it can only be completed with Black Widow's help. Will Captain America be able to break down Black Widows' walls and help her find herself before they jeopardize this mission?
(I know Black Widow IS an assassin and an agent at the same time, but this assassin is back when she was in the Red Room)

I look up at Tony Stark through my long lashes. He gives me a smirk as I give him an innocent smile. That's right Stark, fall right into my trap. "Hey Tony, whe-" Rogers interrupts. I quickly turn my head, trying not to let him see my face. "Rogers, I'm kind of in the middle of something," Tony says. There's no way he remembers me. "You..." Steve says. I bring my glass to my lips and change the color of my eyes and my nose structure before looking back at Steve. "I thought you were... never mind, my apologies. Romanogers: Cold as Ice
First, this is a fanfic for Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow and Steve Rogers/Captain America. Second, this will kind of go through the MCU timeline but not a lot. It will jump around and have some new parts. Third, I don't know everything about the Avengers but I know enough (I think). Fourth, this might have spelling errors and I'm sorry if it does.
