I turn, and fall to my knees on the ground as Rose mounts her brother's old horse. Pain is rushing through every ounce of my body. I begin to panic. I'm going to die! He shot me! There's blood everywhere... It fucking hurts, so bad.... I'm-

"Mercy!" Talia screams.

Her scream shakes me from my anxiety attack. It drives me to move forward, because at this moment it's all that matters. I have to try, for Talia and Rose, even if I die trying.
