I let out my normal, contagious laugh. "Careful, Desmond! Don't cut the corners like that!" I clung to my door. I smiled as I heard Desmond let out a chuckle. "I'm sorry, sunshine! I'm just trying to get out of there before we lose our reservations!" He said as he slowly pushed his foot down on the pedal.
I stared forward into the utter darkness, the only light was given by the head lights. Now I started to panic. "D-Desmond... You're going... Way to fast out here..." I stammered. I clutched to the handle of the door. I thought I might break the handle off with how hard I was holding it. "It's alright! You'll be fine. Trust me, my sunshine." Desmond said, trying to hide the panic in his voice.
Something's not right here... Is he, panicking? "Desmond, slow down! You're going way too fast!" I cried frantically. Desmond stayed silent. He clutched the steering wheel tightly. Something is definitly wrong. "Desmond please!!!" I cried.
"I can't..." Desmond whispered. I stiffened. A chill rose up my spine. He can't...? I looked at him before looking forward. "A deer!!!" I yelped. Then I noticed two lights growing rapidly. Another vehicle... This is a one way street. My eyes dilated before turning back to normal. "DESMOND LOOK OUT!!!!" I shouted. There was a loud squealing noise from the tires. Crashes sounded all around me, followed by shattering glass. My life flashed before my eyes, then sudden darkness.
I was gone...
