Oliver continues further into the forest for another ten minutes, much deeper than he usually goes, but stops when he hears Allan begin mewling from his headphones. He takes them out and stops his music. The cat was stirring in the bag, trying to get out.
"Huh? What's wrong?" Oliver asks the cat. Eventually Allan escapes the bag and lands on the undergrowth on his paws. The cat circles around Oliver's legs and pushes against him, his meows getting louder and quicker. Allan's pushing becomes harder.
"Allan, are you okay?" Oliver asks, sounding worried. Suddenly the cat stops and looks into the trees a few yards in front of them. Everything is silent. Suddenly Allan begins to hiss violently. His meows sounding violent and angry at whatever was in those trees.
'What is he hissing at?" Oliver thinks to himself. He squints his eyes into the trees to possibly see what it was the cat was hissing at. When he sees it, his blood runs cold.
