Gabrielle, or simply Gabby, is currently in her freshman year. She's smart, sassy, and overall a rather likeable person, except for one thing.
She cannot, for the sake of her life, shut up. Whether she's arguing with her drama teacher on how a play is supposed to be interpreted, or talking trash about someone while they're right behind her, she can't seem to stop.
While she does have many friends, she's also accidentally angered a few too many people, including a boy by the name of Carlos.
Carlos and Gabby hadn't gotten along from day one, mainly due to the fact that Carlos, somewhat similarly to Gabby, couldn't seem to understand that sometimes you need to shut up.
Carlos, a sophomore, blended in pretty well with the high schoolers around him. He was athletic, played on the schools football and soccer team, and was late to half his classes. Not exactly what one would call a star student, a fair few teachers still liked him due to his athletic success. Unfortunately, during a English project in which a group had to recreate a piece of poetry as a modern day play, Carlos was placed in a group with none other than Gabby.
The chances of them being able to put their differences aside seemed slim, yet somehow against the odds, they managed to put them to the side, and then even became friends. Of sorts, anyways. It was more of a love-hate thing, but they refused to call it anything but hate.
