The first book in "The Chronicles of Gavroche"
Blood, pain, grief, and death. This is all that Solway, King of Solemvern has provided to all of the little villages and towns he controls and wrecks havoc upon. The land of Gavroche was once a beautiful, marvelous place for all magical and non-magical beings alike. There was freedom and happiness. A nice way to live a healthy life heartily. Then, King Solway took over this land, killing off the former King John and his multiple sons and daughters in a fire. Solway has no desire to give up his reign as ruler and to continue his royal dark blood-line, sires a son. However unhappy with him, he's thrown into the dirty dungeons like rubbish. His wife, now pregnant with her second, which is going to be the "first" son. The other was never announced. In the beginning of his rule, he outlaws all magic and beings for execution. Or to stay reclusive. Anyone seen using or commiting such acts are treason, penalized with death after being tortured horrifically. Who will stand up to the King, or will his poisoned rule continue? That's where Leon comes into the light with a friend.
