Book One of: The Spider Chronicles

Peter Parker has always been the nerdy kid people tend to not talk with. And upon entering his freshman year of high school, he can't think things will ever change. He feels it's his destiny to simply blend in with the crowd, never to stand out. But a trip to a famous laboratory changes not only him, but his future. He's suddenly launched into a world where he must save lives behind a mask of red and blue. Taking the mantel of a newfound hero, he becomes New York's, and the worlds, new icon. But juggling the average life of Peter Parker with the duties of Spider-Man proves to be too large of a task for a superhero but what about for TWO superheroes?

Peter Parker x Reader// Peter Parker sneaks off campus everyday. And so do you. Being a freak wasn't a privilege. It made you different, and the world was afraid of differences. The Avengers kept you safe, they saw the hero you could be. But then the Avengers disbanded, and it made you realize, you didn't want to be a hero. But, luckily you were the government's secret. Which ment you had to act normal. Which ment going to high school. One day, you notice rookie Peter Parker quit the chess team. You had a tournament coming up soon, no way you were going to let him quit and get off that easy.
