Before the betrayal, before the dragon, before the fabled Eight, there was Erika, a barbarian princess from the highland village of Alkanat. Caught between the son that her father wanted and the woman that she was destined to become, young Erika Kuunweister, fought bandits, orcs and even members of her own kind on her way to becoming one of the most legendary dragon-slayers of all time. This prequel is a fun and informative insight into her brutal and sordid past. NOTE: this is a prequel to Eight Against a Dragon, so you may wish to read that first, as I didn't get overly descriptive about places and events that were already established.
