Cyprus, a kingdom known for its centuries of prosperity, remains largely hidden from the horrors of the world beyond its waters. However, with the ascension of the new Queen, the mirage of perfection is threatened by the curiosity of the young Queen, Rena. Bewildered by tales of the ancients, Rena wishes to understand the world in which she is foreign to: she decides to journey to Raija. Raija, a kingdom shrouded by deception and violence, experiences a great unrest among its citizens as the division of the four princes threatens to impede the unity. Being chosen in his youth as the youngest prince's champion, Wil has only known a life full of violence and death. His fierce, protective nature over his young brother is his only connection to any remaining remnants of humanity as his vision is perpetually clouded with blood. Raised in two seemingly diametric worlds, the two discover what it is to live in a new world: a world of their making.
