Monika, tytułowa Blondi razem z rodzicami i rodzeństwem przeprowadzili się z Norwegii do Japonii , gdzie jej tata dostał prace w miedzy narodowej firmie. Monika ze względu na kolor włosów i skóry nie jest lubiana nie tylko przez uczniów ale również przez niektórych nauczycieli. Wszystko się zmienia kiedy.......... no właśnie co się takiego stało?!
