"Hey, why are you crying? It's not normal for someone to be sitting on the sidewalk crying." Arche didn't say a word. Tears continued to fall down his face and to be honest, it broke my heart. It was almost as bad as the time dad first hit Gan. I needed to help him. Without thinking, I did the first thing that came to mind. My arms slid around his torso and I leaned my forehead onto his shoulder. Hot tears dripped onto my arm as he continued to let out his emotions. "So starboy, what's going on?" --------- Darren has never had an easy life. Between school, raising her little brother, bullies and two jobs she takes on life with two weighted arms. Due to her busy life she never really payed any attention to the alien race, known as the Yuconm, becoming co-habitants on earth. She never really payed attention to anything other than school and her brother Regan. That is until Arche came along. Arche, the lonely alien boy that just enrolled in Darren's high school. While having an awkward first encounter that involved peeing and punching, Arche seemed to take a liking to the small human girl. Follow Darren and Arche on their worldly adventures full of potty breaks, life lessons, tears, and snacks. Cover done by @Here_4_You

I was never meant to leave that room. I had spent my whole life in there, imagining what it was like on the outside. I looked forward to the day when I would finally be allowed to leave. But that day was never supposed to come. Until James decided to keep his promise. He had always been there, on the other side of the glass. Waiting. The experiment wasn't over. He was still waiting for me to change. But I didn't change. Not until that night. It was dark, and there was rain. The sound of the car engine was loud, but the crash was louder. In the crash, I became something different. I changed. But not for James. This new part of me emerged for one reason; to save her. Her Conscience
Star is a different type of girl. Ever since she got detached from her divorced, emotionally unavailable parents, she's been filling up her quiet, lonely world with music and dancing. She's practically a musical prodigy at 16 and music can't possibly be taken away from her. The only people she's ever been really close to are her psycho, over enthusiastic bff's. They're the only people she can tolerate anyway. That's until one fateful day when she meets a cocky, narcissistic, though really cute guy at her favourite fro yo shop who gets under her skin for just being himself. She absolutely detests guys like him. Absolutely gorgeous, frustratingly charming, cocky as hell and shockingly talented at music. That's right. Star discovers that this seemingly unbearable guy loves music almost as much as she does and just that single fact makes her heart soften a little so she lets her guard down for just a tiny bit. But after that one moment that she decides to let it down, she realises that she can't get it back up again. She discovers she can actually feel things and once she acknowledges this, her whole world is completely changed from the quiet, peaceful, drama free life she has always been used to into a series of drama, heartbreak, tears, broken trusts and friendships. |Featured X1| @romance(high school romance)

"I hate you - so much Tripp." More confusion because, once more, wasn't this a good thing? "Why did you have to say that? What if," A little quieter, just above a whisper. "What if we mess up our friendship?" "But what if we don't?" "You don't know that," I bumped his nose with my finger. "And neither do you. So, why don't we give it a shot?" He bit down on his bottom lip, hesitation and worry filling his gaze. __ This is literally a story that follows the plot of two best friends realizing their feelings for each other, yes, I know, very cliche, but I enjoyed writing it. There will be mature LGBT+ content, so if you don't want to read those chapters or this story, skip it. Highest Rankings (that I'm aware of): LGBT+: #3 , College Romance: #2 , Gay: #19 / GayPride: #2, Gay boyxboy #1

The blood had already leaked down my forehead, but I kept my eyes on Shane and tried to blink quickly to clear my vision. "Hang on, please. Please hang on." He pleaded, holding my body up to a sitting position. I couldn't even remember what had struck me and I was getting nervous by Shane's worried face. "I'm... it hurts." I mumbled. "I'm so sorry." He held me closer. This time tears started to form in his dark green eyes but I could tell Shane didn't want to cry in front of me. My head started to feel more dizzy and I had to give in and close my eyes, much to Shane's dismay and his protests. I probably should've just listened to him from the start when he said don't go outside in this weather, but me being pissy with him and wanting to prove a point- I did and now I'm laying on the wet grass with a gash on my temple and an even bigger one on my leg. "We'll get you to Harvey." Shane said. I could hear his voice break at the end. He picked me up and started walking. "Please wake up." I wanted to so badly but I was exhausted from the hike and spending the night in the cold and shivering for hours. Shane's warm hands under my back and legs already felt way better. "This is all my fault. The one good thing to happen in my life...." Shane let out a sob but never stopped walking. I just wanted to hug him and tell him everything was going to be alright. I could feel the blood still tripping down my leg and face, so I knew I couldn't make false promises but Shane needed me. He needs me. I'm his anchor, I'm the girl he leans on when he's feeling like he's losing. I have to do this. I opened my eyes again. --CW-- Swearing Abuse Drinking NSFW Blood Painful backstories Book cover was done by me but I used a reference from stardewvalleycowboy because i've never drawn Shane before ^^.
