When you've been to hell and back, been blamed for your own mother's death and been abused by your dad your whole childhood it changes a person permanently, well so Claire thinks. Claire is a 21 year old woman that to others is like a mystery. She works at the Southern Diner and comes home to an empty apartment every night and on her thighs lies her deepest, darkest secret. The person she least thinks will change her opinion and way of life will be the one person she won't be able to live without, but can she push aside her fear of letting someone in and let him change her life?
