He was taught and raised to be in a organization called the Chron.The Chron is an on going society in which the sons and daughters are recruited and trained to follow the basic rule, to kill the people that are called the "marked". Hunter, an emotionless and ruthless being, never really cared about anyone or anything and just goes by the rules. Until Jocelyn Faye comes into the picture. A clusmy and innocent girl that finds the brighter things in life, accidentally enters Hunters and finds out his secret group.The first thought was to kill her, but the groups current leader and just so happens to be Jocelyn's boss from her new job, Gideon, decides to let her live for two months with them and says he has "certain plans" for her.
