Hunter's role in life is a gruesome and blood lust routine. He was taught and raised to be in a organization called the Chron.The Chron is an on going society in which the sons and daughters are recruited and trained to follow the basic rule, to kill the people that are called the "marked". Hunter, an emotionless and ruthless being, never really cared about anyone or anything and just goes by the rules. Until Jocelyn Faye comes into the picture. A clusmy and innocent girl that finds the brighter things in life, accidentally enters Hunters and finds out his secret group.The first thought was to kill her, but the groups current leader and just so happens to be Jocelyn's boss from her new job, Gideon, decides to let her live for two months with them and says he has "certain plans" for her. However there's a catch, Hunter has to watch over her for the whole time. Could Hunter and Jocelyn get along? Will it be possible that Jocelyn can resurface his lost feelings? Or what sort of plans does Gideon have awaiting for her? Being prepared to face the worst and finding out the truth of a dangerous secret, Jocelyn will now know his darker days.

The world is changing every hour. The sun rises every morning. The moon takes its place every night. There is always a light in the sky, whether its sunlight or moonlight. But what happens when even on the brightest of days you cannot find the light in your soul to smile honestly? I have felt that way too. Every hour, the world changes, every minutes counts, every second counts. Each day is a new beginning, but only if you find a way to let the sun rise each morning, and to let the moonlight shine through the dark night. My life is a strange as you'd like to think. But to me, as you will read, I think of it as just a daily adventure, and each day is another obstacle that has been overcome. With not many friends, and very few who know my whole and true story, I look to this little book.
