Marcella has no memory of how she came to be; all she can remember is a sword beside her and hideous scares all over her body, practically breathing death.
To get rid of the spiteful blade, she calls upon the Wandering Man who lives alone in the forest. Everyone in town believes he is a heretic and a sorcerer from hell, but Marcella doesn’t heed superstitions, forging her own path in order to find her identity and purpose in a world filled with death and mystery.
