After a lifetime of deception and duplicity, could you learn to trust again?

This is what Scott has to learn after a particularly painful existence, one that's almost been brought short many times. Being a seventeen year-old foster kid isn't exactly the best thing, especially when you're labeled a "problem child" and have "anger issues". Which is absolute crap, by the way. He knows that the only reason the system exists is money, and it's just a convenient way for assholes to get their daily dosage of child abuse in.

Luckily, he's almost old enough to age out of the system. One more year and he's on his own, right? He'll make it work... somehow. He just has to get through one last foster home, and not get kicked out for about a year. Easy-peasy.

The problem is... everyone is nice. Everyone. It's a little unnerving... there has to be something up.
His new brother, Alex, likes to knit and look at pictures of hot guys. And he's very, very, very nice. Too nice. His father, Evan, mostly stays in his room or is at work, which is suspicious on his own. Scott knows something is up, but what? Everyone seems to want to help him... but no, they'd gain nothing from it.

He'll have to make it on his own, then.

It does have around 40 chapters so it might not seem like it. But trust me that it is.] ||Full Disclosure|| I started the book in the end of 8th grade so it needs MAJOR editing. It also does have Sexual Chapters, as well as people of the same sex being together, murder, brutally torture talk of rape and sexual harassment. So if you do not wish to read things like that then this unfortunately isn't the book for you. ||You Have Been Warned|| First book in the Heart series. •Do Not Copy This Book In Anyway•

Jason Williams didn't think going out to dinner with his family was going to be any different than usual. Comments about his sexuality, some teasing from his brothers, and lots of paparazzi. You know, nothing strange at all. But a fight with his father made Jason storm out of the restaurant, down an alleyway, and suddenly his life isn't the usual anymore. He woke up in an unfamiliar dark room, and a handsome boy opened his door to explain. The snowy-haired genius was holding him captive until he got what he wanted. Life couldn't be worse. Warning: This book contains mental issues such as depression, schizophrenia, and others. If you're sensitive to that kind of thing, then you should probably think twice before reading this. Of course, if you want to read it and you're sensitive, I'm not stopping you. This book only touches upon the subjects; It doesn't go deep into suicide attempts and voices. Remember despite the hate these mental illnesses receive, I believe you. Mental illnesses are no joke, they're not something I try to use for views. I am not hating on the illnesses. I know it's hard, but they are relevant to the book so I had to include them. If you're feeling depressed, please talk to a counsellor. Or, if you're too scared for that, I'll happily listen and give you advice. Thank you! (I needed to include this because I didn't want people thinking I thought the mental illnesses were stupid. I don't, I promise. I love you, and I need you to keep fighting!)

(Book 2) *Contains spoilers below* "I needed more closure than what you gave me." I half lied. "It feels like an open wound someone keeps pouring salt on." His expression remained hard and cold. Almost distant. "I don't know what you want from me, Willow. You coming here isn't closing any wounds, it's just opening up old ones." I let out a sigh and rubbed my hands over my face. "I just needed to see you, okay? It's a relief to know you're even alive right now." I was begging myself not to cry. Noah shifted a little and folded his arms against his chest. "I don't know what you want me to say." "Anything is better than nothing." I said as I took a step closer. "I missed you. A lot." He peeked from under the mess of curls falling over his eyes. "You want me to tell you I missed you too? Is that what you're doing here?" I clenched my jaw shut and curled my fingers into fists at my sides. "I don't want anything from you." Scott isn't gone...yet. But he still refuses to let Noah go without harming anyone Noah cares about. It's been nine months since Scott took Noah under his wing and moved away from California. Willow hasn't seen either of them since the night Noah left with the promise to come back. When Willow finds Noah, she didn't expect what she finds. Noah's completely transformed into something she never thought she would see again. Besides the arrogant, obnoxious attitude, came countless tattoos, a ring through his lip, and a new name. With Scott still lingering and Noah's new found attitude, there's bound to be a little trouble. Way more than Willow bargained for. And maybe, just maybe, Scott isn't the real enemy.

But the opioid pills he's using to manage his pain are changing his behavior in ways he won't be able to hide for much longer. It isn't even his biggest secret: no one knows the real Jon White, and he's terrified if the full truth of himself comes out it will cost both the love of his earthly dad and his heavenly Father. Cary has one last hurdle to leave years of childhood abuse behind him: the trial at which he has to testify against his abuser. But his decision to speak up has splintered the remains of his family and his former best friend seems bent on self-destructing. Cary's going to need everything he's learned along the way to snatch Jon off the ledge. It's never been more obvious the journey from walking wounded to wholeness isn't meant to be travelled alone.
