After a lifetime of deception and duplicity, could you learn to trust again? This is what Scott has to learn after a particularly painful existence, one that's almost been brought short many times. Being a seventeen year-old foster kid isn't exactly the best thing, especially when you're labeled a "problem child" and have "anger issues". Which is absolute crap, by the way. He knows that the only reason the system exists is money, and it's just a convenient way for assholes to get their daily dosage of child abuse in. Luckily, he's almost old enough to age out of the system. One more year and he's on his own, right? He'll make it work... somehow. He just has to get through one last foster home, and not get kicked out for about a year. Easy-peasy. The problem is... everyone is nice. Everyone. It's a little unnerving... there has to be something up. His new brother, Alex, likes to knit and look at pictures of hot guys. And he's very, very, very nice. Too nice. His father, Evan, mostly stays in his room or is at work, which is suspicious on his own. Scott knows something is up, but what? Everyone seems to want to help him... but no, they'd gain nothing from it. He'll have to make it on his own, then. **TRIGGER WARNING: This book has characters with depression and characters with anxiety, with many mentions of suicide or suicidal thoughts. One character self harms and another considers, but does not. A character has panic attacks and flashbacks of prior abuse. One character has schizophrenia and has hallucinations. There is mention of underage drinking as well as mention of drug use. Please do not read if any of these things are triggers to you.**

BOOK ONE OF BBATE TRILOGY YOU ARE BEING WARNED! Grammar is horrible, shit drags on. I wrote this at 12 when I discovered I was gay and wanted to let out a lot of my own trauma and emotions; so, shit drags on, it's confusing, and it SUCKS! You're being warned!!! I am keeping the original up, but I'm going to be rewriting the original and posting a new one! Zane, an 18-year-old depressed gay 'bad boy', has been through a lot in his life that causes a lot of problems. Shane, a 17-year-old who Is gay, is bullied for being Emo and later on for being gay. What happens when these two strangers meet at school during a fight? Will they find love and be happy together, or will others get in the way? Can Zane finally surpass his past? What happens when Zane's past catches up to him? Can Shane help his love through all the past traumas and the new ones? Can Shane better himself? Can he fix a past mistake? Can these two stay together and be happy, or will things happen to pull them apart for good? FIND OUT BY READING THE STORY! This is not a slow-burn romance, everything happens pretty fast, so be prepared. The first few chapters seem happy, but then there's a roller-coaster of events. I put some of my own trauma and life events into this, so please be kind.
