Ever since the apocalypse began, you've been thrown into the position of the leader. Not that you'd complain, because you're honestly pretty good at it. You're always the one who makes the tough decisions and does the things that nobody else can to survive. Which is why you're not too happy when your camp is taken over by an arrogant man named Negan.
This is going to be a Negan x reader that is written in the first person and is probably going to be pretty long. There is a lot of swearing and maybe smut at some point but I don;t really know yet. Also, I know Lucille isn't mentioned in the first chapter, but don't panic though! There's a good reason he doesn't have Lucille yet and that he isn't as big of an asshole as he should be yet. Basically the story starts before and shows how he becomes what he is. I have a lot planned for this story so hopefully you like it!

The undead feed on the living and the living can't be trusted. As the days pass and the world she knew was gone, she keeps a record of everything that has happened since first night. In a world where previous history is long forgotten, Kelley believes it is necessary to write down her journey and keep track of all things apocalyptic, so that maybe one day it will help others learn how to survive... and not make the same mistakes she has. Before the outbreak she was a cop just like her brother. After Rick got shot and ended up in a coma the world fell apart. The dead came back and started attacking the living. The military fell too quickly, the city was overrun by the dead and now she was at an old quarry only a few miles outside Atlanta with her Sister-In-Law, Nephew, and her brothers best friend. On the way they met a few more people and now had a small group. She slowly grows close the the youngest Dixon brother, Daryl. When they get back from their hunting trip Daryl learns his brother was handcuffed to a roof and left in the city. But what had YN in complete shock and not knowing how to deal with it is the person who did it. Her brother was alive after she already Mourned his death. She blames herself for not double checking to make sure he was really dead or not. Luckily she has a list of rules and guidelines she has been working on as the days of living in a post apocalyptic world with the living dead to keep her busy.
