Scarlett Lockhart wanted to spend her last year of high school as a new, improved version of her former self. No longer would she be known only as Scarlett, sister of the up and rising pop star, Dylan Lockhart. This time she would become her own person, one who did not live in the shadow of her famous brother. As summer comes to a close and the new year begins, Scarlett gets the news of a lifetime: she will be going on tour with her brother for the remainder of the year. Despite her best efforts, she is now stuck on a tour bus traveling the United States for the remainder of her senior year. If losing her life in sunny California wasn't enough, she is now introduced to his opening acts: Gravity and Megan Quinn. Between becoming her own person and dealing with a band of boys, including a certain green-eyed singer that makes her heart thud, she fears her life couldn't get any more complicated. Join Scarlett on her journey filled with fangirls, late nights, sour path kids, and maybe... love.

Don't read this. Unless of course, you have a strange interest for stories than involve a shy, awkward teenage girl who made it big in the music industry. Then be my guest and continue reading. Just like several other newly-discovered artists, I was found on the internet. I sing. I write songs. I play guitar. So how am I worthy of stardom? Honestly, I don't think I am. You know who's worthy of stardom? This new musician named Spencer Caldwell. He's everything I'm not. And he's far better-suited for a hectic life of touring and publicity. We're different. And yet it appears to me that were going down this road together. Book 1 of the "Stars Are Born" Trilogy.
