The Tetra Stone has been unheard of for nearly 100 years in the Realm of Theos, let alone laid eyes upon―that is, until 16 years ago when Elizabeth Stone was born. Her past all but a blur, Ella struggles to understand why the people of her own homeland―Zin―hate her. All she has is Kira, her only friend. Eventually, Ella is driven out with Kira by her own people and soon finds herself in the Land of Llar, where she somehow seems to find her place. Ella obtains many truths there involving Kira and herself that she could not have thought of even imagining in Zin. Fortunately for her, the people of Llar take her in with interest, for reasons unspoken. That is, all but Jon White of the High Council who just so happened to be assigned to train her in combat.  The two quickly discover that they share a mutual hate―for each other, that is. After learning the reason for the Hellions' timed attacks, Ella, Jon, Braeden, and Sam are sent out as a final hope to save Llar, and possibly all 28 Lands from the unknown threat. The quest for the infamous Tetra Stone is a race between four youngsters and thousands of Hellions. As they travel, they uncover more and more secrets that had been hidden away for centuries. Ella realizes that the fate of all of Theos lies in their hands. Little does she know that her individual survival alone counts on the lives of millions.
