Clover is everything she never wanted to be. She's one of those girls she used to look at and pity because they lived in a sick world where only looks mattered. She was now one of those fragile girls with protruding hips and collar bones.
Her mum hates her. Her dad is dead. And everything changed when she graduated without that damned diploma.

Connor is dangerously indecisive. He doesn't know the difference between mistakes and stupidity. Easily manipulated, he falls in love with all the worst people. He doesn't believe in second chances anymore. Every person that was in his life had been given thousands of second chances and now he's sick of it. His thoughts are so jumbled that even he can't make sense of them. Haunted by his mother's mysterious death, his father hides behind a dangerous web of lies that is rapidly falling apart.

Both of them can't stand mirrors. They can handle photographs but not mirrors. He shatters all of the ones in his apartment while she completely covers them with photographs that she takes of her friends and family. Almost none she is in.
