This is a TMR fanfic. A Newt x fem!Reader. (Sorry to everyone else about the pronouns) I'm not going to give a ton of the plot away, but why don't you just try the first chapter and see what you think? If you don't like it, no biggie! Just please try it. Basically, reader is the first girl in the Glade (Teresa will never really exist), and along with her she brings her baby sister. Read to find out how the rest of the Gladers will have to adjust to a child in their midst and how Newt and Y/n's relationship will grow because of it! Teresa is the first girl to arrive in the Glade? False. The first girl in the Glade was in fact Mia, she arrived over a year before Thomas and Teresa. The reason no one talks about her, they all think she is dead. Mia arrived in the box, same as everyone else but here's the catch, she doesn't talk. Not can't, doesn't. After a few months in the Glade Mia is sick of it, she runs off into the Maze at sundown. The Gladers assume she is dead when they don't hear from her for a week. But in reality she has been living in the maze with the Grievers, she made friends with a few of them and they protected her from the others, she runs around the maze during the night and hides during the day so that the Runners wouldn't see her. She has lived like that for almost a year now, watching over her Glader friends from afar. Each month she would watch as the new Greenie would come up in the box but then one night after a year in the maze her friends Minho and Alby get stuck in the Maze with the new Greenie. Mia joins them and starts to feel something for the Greenie. She joins in the adventure, surprising all the Gladers. This is her journey. This is a Maze Runner, Thomas X OC, fanfiction. The sunlight burned. That's the first thing she thought when the metal bin finally opened its top to let her out. The next was where the hell was she, and how exactly did she get in this place to begin with? My breath quickens as the contraption I was forced into - who knows how long ago - moves. After what feels like an eternity, the space around me stilled, and I jerk forward, falling on my wrist painfully. Suddenly, a strip of light appears above me. As the light gets bigger, I blink and see unfamiliar faces observing me. The strong stench of exhaustion and sweat hit me. As I slowly get up, I see a boy apart from the crowd, watching me curiously. *Points at Gally* I LOVE HIM, YOUR HONOR! Gally does NOT get enough love, I stg, SMH. Plot: The first girl wasn't Theresa, it was me. I came up in the box, injured, with no memory, a necklace I don't recognize, and no trust for any of the boys around me. Except him. A Gally ship-fanfic. I try to blend both the books and the movies together, so it does follow the plot, but that isn't till waaaaaay later. This will all be one book. **Character notes: Gally- If you look up the WICKED files on Gally, it says he has Alpha tendencies, but I like movie Gally better, so that's how he'll be acting. There might be some dom. instances here and there, but they won't make up 100% of his personality. Newt- I AM A NEWTMAS SHIPPER, *FUCK YOU THERESA* But for plot, he has an attraction for the MC.
