Everyone says that when your born you get two tattoos on your skin, you cant ever get rid of them, or ignore them. These tattoos are the first and last sentences your soulmate will ever say to you. Worst part of the whole soulmate crap, is that you have absolutely zero say in it. Hell, you could be straight as a bendy ruler and still get paired up with someone out of your comfort zone. It sucked, nonetheless you couldn't change it, no matter how much you tried. Explain to me how the fuck your not supposed to fall in love with your soulmate? After all, this person was meant for you...right? You? The stubborn asshole, in fact you were pretty sure the only reason your friends hung out with you was because they've known you for long, they know your not really like that, that you have a fucked up way of showing love. Refusing the whole bundle of shit that is soulmates. How can someone survive when they know the exact moment, no, know the exact words they're beloved soulmate will spout out of their mouth before they die, they have to live knowing that their time is..well....limited.

Soulmate AU Soulmates were a tricky subject. When you were a few years old, about when you got your quirk, a few words would appear somewhere on their body. those would be the first words your soulmate would say to you specifically. As soon as you and your soulmate touched skin to skin, a mark would appear corresponding to your soulmate. Soulmates were specifically a sensitive topic to Dabi, a man who's entire existence was because the thought of soulmates was thrown out by his father. The words that lay on his collar bone always haunted him. "It's You." This story is based off of my oneshots book. Soulmates, we're always told we have one but I haven't been so sure I do. I mean I did get my tattoo and it hasn't disappeared yet, meaning they aren't dead. I guess believing in something like that takes a lot of effort. When you first touch your soulmate (Skin to skin contact) your tattoo turns a solid color. That color is the most important color in your life at the moment you touched. In this world, there's a system to tell who your soulmate is. Nobody remembers how it happened but, one day people started getting these tattoos on their right wrist. These tattoos are a basic shape that resembles your soulmate's hair. The shape is filled in completely by the color of your soulmate's hair as well. In the center of the tattoo, there are 1-5 objects. Those objects describe what your soulmate loves to do. The shape of my tattoo always fascinated me but I've never been able to put it into words. My tattoo shape is an upside-down half-circle if instead of the bottom part being flat, it opens and curves outwards. In the center of my tattoo was a volleyball, it always was a volleyball, it's never changed once. You see naturally, people tend to change hobbies, but whoever my soulmate was, they didn't change theirs, I never changed mine either which is fascinating.
