Sophie Roper was known by many to be saucy, rude, impudent, and overall a very unpleasant person to hang out with if you didn't know her very well. So of course the equally impudent Seamus Finnigan was bound to get on her bad side when they met for the first time upon the Hogwarts Express, back in their first year. After a rather disastrous incident between the two involving a floating tarantula and a jar of pickles, they made sure to stay way clear of each other, only stopping once or twice in the school corridors to send each other glares and insults.
Come September 1st, 1993, and the two suddenly find their lives intertwining more often than they would like. But despite their annoyance for each other, Sophie couldn't help but become incredibly self-conscious when Seamus was around, and Seamus couldn't help but wish she would fire another comment in his direction, no matter how scathing it was.
