Cody Walker used to live to play soccer, always voiced her opinion, and make occasionally funny jokes. However, that Cody hasn't existed since a drunk driver collided into her parents' car.
The new Cody is quiet, reclusive and still makes bad jokes. She quit soccer and would rather be by herself than be with her friends or people in general. Now, she focuses on taking care of her two younger brothers and attempting to learn how to play the guitar.
When Leo, a part time rocker and a full time pain in the ass, discovers Cody struggling to play a G chord, he makes her an offer: He'll teach her how to play in exchange for her owing him three favors, no questions asked.
