Maysie Campbell was never the relationship type. She never did the relationships with holding hands, waking up to the person in the morning smiling because of the mind-blowing sex, or kissing in public like nobody's watching. She's used to waking up, getting dressed with a major hangover and leaving without a glance back at the person she just spent the night with. She's used to heading to her best friend, Rule Bennett's, house to crash on his couch for the majority of the day before she goes back out and does it all over again.
One night, Maysie goes home with a stranger, oddly sober. She goes home with him, without a clue as to who he is and what he used to be. She gets the sparks and everything else she's read about in romance books. In the morning, instead of running she makes a deal with the curly haired stranger that introduces himself as Harry - just Harry. She quickly agrees to the deal, and soon they're having a no-strings attached relationship.
Before long the no-strings attached deal turns into something more for Maysie, something she's never wanted before. But, there's an obstacle standing in her way and she's not sure how to take it down. So, she starts wearing a particular perfume, staking her claim every time she spends a night with Harry - trying to make him rightfully hers.
