June of 2017 before our second semester at university, my best friend Cammie and I decided to swap a South African winter for an Italian summer. So we packed up and went to stay with my uncle at his Tuscan villa.  All I had hoped for was six weeks of fun in Italy, shopping at street markets, sunbathing with Cammie and maybe even a fling with a cute Italian boy so that I could FINALLY get some experience.  I'd even planned to try to set Cammie up with Jay.  But of course I'd forgotten that none of my plans ever play out like I want and nothing is ever easy when Jay is involved. Throw in an uncle leaving us because of work and an extra houseguest and what we were left with was wholly unexpected.
