Sonic tried his best to protect her, to protect Amy from harm. But, he couldn't be in two places at once. 

Amy is attacked and captured by Eggman, who begins to use her as a lab rat. Everything was working out well, until the machine malfunctioned, and now Amy's been teleported to a random universe!

"Amy!" Sonic outreached his hand for her. He was so close, the whirring sounds of the machine didn't stop him. He was about to grab her when he was pulled back by two tiny yellow arms. "You can't, Sonic! It could-"

"I don't care! I need to-"

     In a blink, Amy disappeared from his view. There was a suffocating silence that followed. Sonic felt limp, she was gone. "No! Amy!" He shouted, breaking out of his shocked trance. Sonic struggled to escape Tails' grip, which wasn't that hard. He ran to where she had stood mere seconds ago. His heart was racing, he was never too slow, he always saved the day. Where was she? "Bring her back! Where'd you send her?" Sonic growled at Eggman.

After walking out on them, she decides to try to take on one of the badnik infested sectors, since Eggman had started his takeover of Mobius. Eggman had been testing a prototype in the area, to see if it was stronger than his previous failures, when he notices a familiar pink hedgette. After a long fight, he eventually takes her back to his main base, where she is subjected to 4 years of torment and experimentation. (This all takes place on Mobius in an alternate timeline, if they had never went to Earth.) Please keep in mind that I may be slow with posting this, as my irl schedule doesn't usually allow me much time to write or anything, but I will try my best.
