Prequel to Take Me Back To The Start. Charlotte and the boys are back in high school, where everything started. With the 5th year of Charlotte's father's death, she seeks love and comfort from the only men left in her life; Mike, Vic and her brother Lane. Her best friend, the man she is hopelessly in love with and her brother. But what happens when she bumps into an unfamiliar boy in the halls while she flees embarrassment? Tony is new to San Diego and enjoys sticking to himself but when he bumps into Charlotte on accident he knows that there is something about her. He wants to get to know her, he wants to stand by her side as she sinks further into her dark place. He knows that she needs someone and clearly the people she thought would be there, aren't. Tony thinks he can make her happy but he is forced to watch as she continuously chases after someone that will never love her like he can. 

**This is almost like an AU to my previous stories in this series. What would happen if Charlie and Tony never divorced? If Charlie didn't ever go to New York in the first place? How would the series turn out if they were still married?**
