Sadie Patterson grew up with a loving family, in her family's house in the country side of Illinois. But on August 23 an accident occurred, and only Sadie survived. Now she's bouncing around from foster home to foster home. She can no longer stand the sunshine, or the almost torturing sound of laughter. Sadie is Everyday she punishes herself and others. She is an angel who has lost her wings.
Sadie and Noah are both damaged. But maybe together they can heal each other's wounds and remember what makes life worth living.
