Shangri-La: A distant and secluded hideaway, usually of great beauty and peacefulness.

Your life as an esteemed artist has taken off, and with the privilege of being able to travel the world in search of new inspirations, you've floated from place to place, ranging from Prague, Czechoslovakia, to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, with your most recent stop being in Jinhae-gu, Gyeongsangnam-do, South Korea. The Cherry Blossom festival was the reason you went, but you stayed upon discovering the various other beautiful cities in South Korea.

Your citizenship application did not take long since you had carefully studied the intricacies of the culture and language. This resulted in you finding out that the arts aren't encouraged in Korean society, with most of the focus aimed at the medical field. With this newfound motivation to encourage the arts, you ended up becoming a professor at Seoul Institute of the Arts.

Life in Jinhae-gu was amazing, but the 3.5-hour commute to your workplace from your home was too much, and staying in hotels seemed futile seeing as you're job was there. Eventually, you decided to buy an apartment in Seoul a block away from your workplace, keeping your old home as a vacation home of sorts.

Of course- the life in Seoul involves meeting some other esteemed artists such as yourself.
