While sitting in my room in April 2020, vibin', I'm suddenly launched into the Clone Wars universe and find myself on a world in the Outer Rim roughly 5 months after the Battle of Kamino. What started out as a simple oneshot of my Star Wars oc and Tech confessing to one another began to grow into something much larger. It was never supposed to be a full on thing, so that's why it's a bit weird/ different at the beginning. Anyways, enjoy getting to know her, how she met clone force 99, and dealt with order 66. The Bad Batch: Tech and Vel
During the Clone Wars, the Bad Batch is tasked with a variety of missions across the galaxy. An unexpected addition to their team throws a wrench in the mix, particularly for Tech, who finds a particular connection with the disillusioned Padawan-turned-mechanic named Vel. Let's be honest... this is a slow burn, cheesy romance with just enough immersion in the Star Wars world to give us all a little vacation with one of our favorite clones. No smut, just PG-13 romance and adventure. It's like a mix of Pride and Prejudice and the Jim and Pam dynamic from The Office. Also, I did my best to keep a steady plot line and tried to think of all the potential plot holes or questions or whatnot, but ultimately, this was just an excuse to indulge in imagining a little romantic adventure for Tech.
