Mallory Owens never knew what happiness meant until she met Arden Myers. They were best friends and Mallory felt that Arden had ignited the best in her. She was the light of her life. 

That was until Arden Myers was found dead in the swimming pool of their university. Her death was ruled as suicide. 

Now, Mallory Owens is a dark and empty shell of the person she used to be. However, after receiving Arden's journal, she realised that there was more to her best friend's death than meets the eye. With a newfound sense of perseverance, Mallory is determined to figure out what actually happened the night her light was taken away from her.
