STORY #1 
A one eyed owl has been stalking over a family of humans. One day, one of the children gets separated and can't find his home. The owl has to chose, save the human or let it die.

STORY #2
The point of view of a young Native American girl. Both the Sauk and Fox tribes fight the whites as she watches from afar.

STORY #3
Though evil runs in the family, one little monster must save his sister Hope. The only good left.

STORY #4
Competition is tough when trying to win the Spotlight title. But when the things go too far, the dance gods have a way of setting things right.

[Short Story, a little fast pace] "What are you doing in our territory, rogue?" The man snarls at me. "M-Me no b-bring h-harm." I whimper. The man laughs bitterly at me before grabbing me by the neck harshly. "I don't know what game you're trying to play you vile creature but this whole innocent act is going to get you nowhere." I gasp when he bares his teeth at me. "Don't worry, I'll put you out of your misery." I close my eyes, ready for the pain I was about to receive but...It never came. I expected him to hit me or yell but he didn't do anything of that. Although what I didn't expect was for him to whisper, "Mate." // Aurora. Especially Emily's work, the company built by the woman who has moved humanity further in the future. She feels more devoted and passionate about her work. She just can't figure out why... Short Story 3 In a place where the trees block out all sunlight, there is a lonely building. Within this building, you'd find all manner of monsters and beasts. Sometimes, even monsters want to go where every one knows their name. Short Story 4 Lily lived a happy but simple life in her village, despite the war against the magical beasts of world still raging. When the war finally reaches the village, she expected her life to end with her family. She never expected a man to appear and offer her a deal. Tales Of Wonder are short stories that are tied in to a novel I've had in my head for years. They are related to the novel and each other. These stories are mainly to motivate me and to test out different writing styles. Each short story will be written in different styles. They take place in a world where magic and science combine. The first story here, I admit leaves the rules of the world and how everything works a little vague but each short story will add more and eventually the novel will tie up the magic system. Any feedback is welcomed. Of course, let me know if you want more stories.

No baby in sight. "Gray!," I screamed loudly like I was getting stabbed over and over again. He ran into the nursery, scanning the area for any danger. "He's gone! Our baby's gone!" His eyebrows furrowed as his eyes softened realising what happened. Just as quick as it came, it vanished and he was back with the icy look in his eye. The one he had when we first met. For a moment, I was afraid of him going back to his old self before dismissing that thought and focusing on my missing newborn son. Don't worry, I'm coming for you, my little bubba... "The world around her swam with mottled light. How long had she been fighting?" So...in sixth grade we took this computer-skills class. Our final test was to write a short story in Microsoft Word. My story ended up fleshing out into the trilogy I am working on and planning to publish at somepoint in my life, but I realized how incredible my writing skill has improved between just the two or three years. So, I decided to re-write the original sequence of a short story, same plot and characters, just with current skill. Comments and feedback are appreciated, please enjoy!

I turn around and dread fills me as I look into his dark eyes. They're glowing from the light from the fridge. I stumble over my thoughts but manage to squeak out "I thought you were out on a mission for your Alpha?" "I finished, and now I'm back." His eyes boring a hole through my head. "And I can tell that you've been slutting it up" he says with a look that makes me tremble. I start to shake my head, to try and persuade him that I haven't been doing anything wrong, but he forcefully grabs my jaw and stops me from shaking it. "You really shouldn't lie to me Adelaide, now I'm just going to have to teach you a lesson" he spits out at me. *** This isn't you typical story about werewolves, but I love the idea of mates, so follow these young adults on their journey with a supernatural twist.

Will she find the one she truly loves? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Second story, if you haven't read Love, War, and Flight yet, I suggest it, not because of reads but because some things won't make sense unless you read it. Yes, this is my shortest story, but it's short quality that doesn't fall apart in confusion. Finished third wave of editing, so it should be done! :D

Gabriel Artic is from a long family of Alpha's, his father being the most well known. Gabriel was the alpha of the AfterGlow pack being the strongest and scariest pack to go against. What happens when Gabriel finds Dawn? Will Gabriel reject her? Can she change him? What happens when Gabriel finds out about Dawn's past and who caused it all?
