Lance is a carefree 11 year old always out and playing with his friends and family, in the sea enjoying life. Then, a mysterious helicopter comes and takes Lance away to a research facility called the Garrison. He is kept there for years, not eating properly, and being experimented on almost constantly. There is almost no escape for him and he is kept in a life of captivity knowing nothing else than the blank walls in the room he is kept in.

Lance knows that he's annoying. He knows that he's a flirt, and that his jokes are always terrible. That's why the kidnapping by the Galra fleet, didn't bother him all that much. His team would just be better off without him getting in the way of everything. He just slowed them down. The Galra need information. Every blow they shot at the paladins of Voltron, didn't seem to do much. The capture of the Blue Lion and its rider was what they needed to find out how to win against the pesky earthlings. Keith, Hunk, Pidge, Shiro, Coran, and Allura are worried. With Keith stressing himself out over the wellbeing of his kidnapped friend, and Pidge looking all over for said friend, the paladins of Voltron are not on their best.
