Quinn Percy has one thing and one thing only on her summer vacation agenda: Work at Milk & Sugar Beachside Coffeehouse as much as she possibly can in order to scrape together enough money to buy the old sunshine yellow Volkswagen Beetle her neighbor's been trying to sell for ages. Since she's been working there every summer since her freshman year of high school, and because she's a generally stellar employee, Quinn's certain it'll be smooth sailing for her.

Well, that is, until the owner hires Jonas Manning, the notoriously overconfident and obnoxiously flirtatious captain of the school's swim team, and it's Quinn's job to train him.
