Alex Danvers is a 26 year old maths teacher, at the start of his career, who should be having the time of his life enjoying what he's earned after spending so much time at university. But with his schizophrenia out of control, he can't remember what he did to get him fired. The voices in his head make him confused and his memories are sketchy. He remembers luring a student and that's all that surfaces.

All he knows is that he did something, something bad and he's facing the consequences in Volterra's Mental Asylum.

Meanwhile, Aro has always been in search of a mate, and he knows he can't hide his secret for long: he loves men, not women. When he meets Alex, he takes him on his journey to self discovery and helping him express who he really is.
And even more importantly, he can help Alex remember. The most important thing of all. Why did Alex get fired and what did he really do to or with that student? Did he or she even exist?

Jamie is just trying to go through life as easily as he possibly can, but him being gay wasn't entirely helping him at his high school. He used to be happy there, he had a boyfriend, friends, but that all changed in one day. His parents love him and would do anything for him. They support him and he's lucky that he's has them. He just doesn't tell them what's going on at school. But this isn't about that. When he finally opens up about it his parents helped. They moved. Switched schools. Jamie was starting to be happy, but he still had trust issues from previous events. When he's finally accepted what happens when a certain Mr. Parker introduces himself.
