AU in which you can only sleep when your soulmate does, and when they're jarred awake you also are.

NOTES:
1) Modern setting; ranges from when they were in sixth grade to when they're all middle-aged adults
2) Very Peggy-centric
3) Mainly about Peggy and Herc, actually
4) In this AU, Peggy has been friends with Laf, Herc, and Laurens since childhood.
5) I usually like to make Peggy LGBTQ+ but for this AU I'll have her be straight
6) Peggy goes out with both Laf and Laurens but eventually figures out Herc is her soulmate
7) Plot twist: Laf thinks he wasn't born with a soulmate
8) Alexander and Eliza fake being soulmates so that they can convince people they're straight
9) Angelica thinks Alex is her soulmate
10) Whoops, Alex is not her soulmate; Burr is
11) Maria and James Reynolds are married and everyone knows they aren't soulmates
12) That's considered scandalous in this world
13) Thomas and Peggy are BFFs in high school and they have a similar sleep schedule so everyone thinks that they're soulmates
14) But no, Thomas is gay af
15) When Philip is born he sleeps like an angel, but once he starts kindergarten he starts staying awake really late at night
16) So his soulmate is obviously pretty restless
