"Let there be light, and there was darkness."

Light is the absence of dark
Dark is the absence of light

Dark (Azal) and Light (Vance) are brothers.

The two immortal beings have been here since the beginning of time to feed the sky it's night and day. In their true days of roaming, light and dark alternated days.

Light had the first full day and Dark had the full second day.

On the day of Dark, evil lurked in the shadows. Using a spell, Azal put his brother Light into a deep sleep so the next day remained Dark and no Light would show.

This was so unusual, that the earth cursed both of the brothers. Scorn and hatred the two had for one another. Dark and Light then had to alternate on the same day forever.

Earth, out of her own soil wrote the Legend book for breaking the curse. Only a witch from centuries down the line could break this curse.

She either fell in love with Darkness or killed Light. She must choose, and it can't wait.

The earth will eventually crumble, and die if the curse remains.

𝐋𝐨𝐯𝐞 & 𝐌𝐮𝐫𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐁𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝟏 ❝I will not have you without the light that hides within you and I will not let you have me without the darkness that makes me. If my demon cannot dance with your angel then neither can we dance with each other.❞ -𝐀𝐝𝐫𝐢𝐤 𝐋𝐮𝐤𝐲𝐚𝐧𝐨𝐯 Love is not a word with one set definition. It can mean many things. Redefined every time someone new uses it and sometimes in a more vile and lascivious way. Love was never on the table. Completely erased from his vocabulary after his mother died an unforgiving death. But sometimes the feeling can breed from even the darkest of places in the world. Twisted and depraved. Behind closed doors of a kidnapper's home. Or from the void that swirls in the chest of someone's missing heart. Even between the forbidden love of an angel and a demon. Love can come in all forms, in all contexts, and can form from even the smallest smidge of scorching hate. There is never light without darkness. There is never yin without yang. There are never days without nights. There is never love without hate. There is never life without death. Even villains and demons can fall in love with heroes and angels. His salvation comes from her and her destruction comes from him. Like clockwork, they are a match made in the universe; polar opposites but the attraction is never stronger. The Dark Light will shroud the White Daisy but her resilience and adaptivity will prove just how much she belongs to him.
