There is a community of the spirit. Join it, and feel the delight of walking in the noisy street, and being the noise. Drink all your passion, and be a disgrace. Close both eyes to see with the other eye. Open your hands, if you want to be held. Sit down in this circle. Quit acting like a wolf, and feel the shepherd's love filling you. At night, your beloved wanders. Don't accept consolations. Close your mouth against food. Taste the food. You moan, "She left me." "He left me." Twenty more will come. Be empty of worrying. Think of who created thought! Why do you stay in prison when the door is so wide open? Move outside the tangle of fear-thinking. Live in silence. Flow down and down in always widening rings of being. Viper: When I was a kid I was naive, shy, and easy to push around. I was a little girl who dreamt of sunshine and rainbows. But that all changed when I was 10 years old and my grandparents died. I found myself utterly and completely alone in this world. One bad thing after another seemed to hit me. I of course dealt with it. I dealt with it because a man in a black leather Jacket and fucking amazing ink told me how to survive this cruel world. Sometimes you just have to get mean. And so I did. It became my only vice when shit got tough. I am fine on my own. I don't need anyone. Ryker: When I found her at just ten years old, she was just as cute, button-nosed, and sweet as a jar of honey. I gave her a bit of advice to survive this cruel world. She needed to learn to be a little mean, otherwise she would have been eaten alive. But now that I found her again, she isn't who she was when we first saw each other. She was known as Viper. She seemed to have taken my advice to heart. And fuck, I believe I created a fucking monster. Viper, a dark-haired, green-eyed, wicked smile, and sharp tongue. She thinks she has to do it on her own. But in reality, she doesn't. She has family. She has me. And Lucifer forbids anyone fucks with what belongs to me. Charlie: When I met her at fourteen years old, I never expected her to stay. She was just some kid wanting a tattoo. She was a firecracker waiting to explode. She was protective of things and people that belonged to her. Dan was meant to just kick her out and let her go on her way, but she stayed. This book is for you, who wants to read about what life can be like, most of the times. This book has reminders, poetry, tips and tricks, quotes, texts about meaning with life, happy moment and even sad moments. A little bit of everything life can throw at you. I have no filter to this book. Which means it's raw and genuine, and that is the goal. (You don't necessarily have to read from start to finish) If you for an example have a bad day, I have a chapter for you about seeing it thru a different perspective than what people normally tell you. Or if you feel like you want to know what happiness is or feels like, I have different definition of that in different chapters for you my dear! (And many more chapters, about everything you could think of) And maybe you know all of this already, and it glads me to hear. If my collection inspires even one person, it would make me delighted knowing that it made a difference. I always had a thing for nice quotes. I used to write them even at a young age. Whenever I see a nice line - be it from a book, celebrity or some other unpopular sources, I feel amazed by them, and then lately, I started writing them down somewhere so as not to forget. Now and then a beautiful line would just pop in my mind, and if I don't have the means to write immediately, I would just try to memorize until I put it down. I write quotes anywhere, if I think that I am going to forget. They are just scattered in places so much so that I feel the urge to bring them together. What's better than to bind them in a book? P.S. except the quotes that are from revealations, i.e. the Qur'an and Sunnah, there are always room for errors in human opinions, so I recommend the readers to use their own sense of judgment as well.

When a chance meeting with a stranger turns into getting drug to the meet-and-greet line for a not-so-chance meeting with Colton Dixon, Alexis has no idea that it will change her life forever. But with a leading of Holy Spirit on his heart, and a glimpse of Alexis's arms under her sleeves burning in his memory, Colton finds it impossible to stand oblivious to the downward spiral he can see in Alexis's life. Have you ever felt so much physical pain that you thought death was nearer than you had hoped for? Maybe you have felt one, but not both, or maybe you have felt both. These poems were written for those who have felt pain like no other. You may be your own worst enemy, but you are also your own best friend. Sometimes, no one is there to help you get up off that floor, so it is up to you to help your own self. Once you find that you can take care of yourself, you can take care of and love others. Humans need love to survive. If we didn't have love, we'd all be robots and simply not human. The love doesn't have to be from a significant other. Maybe it's from a best friend or close family member? Just know that we are all in this game of life together. So, let's live it with love. I had entered the deepest depths of pain and agony. I had given up on my life. I tried to end my life, and I would have been successful. Three people saved me that day, at the end of 2017. First, was myself. I had to come to terms with who I was and turn it all back around. I had to lean on my Creator, who was my second life saver. Jesus came to my aid and saved my life after I tried to take it. The third person who saved me was my husband. Before we met I would have died, but he needed me just like I needed him. I am alive for him, for my two sons, for myself, and for my Heavenly Father. I squeezed my way through the abundant number of people, trying to get to the exit. I bumped into a lot of shoulders, until I found an opening. As soon as the door was in my sight, I heard Jessie calling out my name. Her voice grabbed my attention, and I briskly turned around. I knocked right into a tall figure, causing me to lose my balance and fall. All the people dancing blocked my vision so I couldn't grab onto anything to prevent myself from falling. Hurt and frightened and no where to turn except for my journal. Poems focusing on a day in the shoes of a person with a mental illness and how some even ordinary simple tasks may seem not so simple to them.
