This is a world that isn't ordinary. No, there are things you can't even imagine. Dragons, griffins and practically anything you can think of. There is magic everywhere you go. The people live in one huge community. Even the people there are different. They are magical creatures. For examples, there are vampires, werewolves, wizards, fairies, etc. Yes, there are some humans, but they're not your avergae type of human. Everyone, even all the magical people, can control the elements. Not all of the elements, a person can only control one. And you don't get to pick which one. When each person turns 15 years old, they go to the Element Teller. He is an old man that will tell you what element is meant for you. After you get told which element you can control, you go to a ceremony with other children that also turned 15. In that ceremony, trained professionals will make tests on your brain and body. After they receive the results, they shall assign you to one of the nine colonies. All colonies are controlled by one person. The kings. Don't get me wrong, each colony has their own king. So when he finds a queen, they can rule together and then pass down the colony to one of their children. Each colony is different. None of them have the same beliefs. That's why the professionals get tests done on you, when they get the end results of your mind and body, they decide which colony you belong in. And the colony they chose, you have to go. So after they tell you which colony you go to, they make you wait until a huge ceremony during the summer, so the whole community knows where the children go. After you get into the colony you were chosen for, you have to start practicing your level of element. When the children moved, they left their parents behind so now each child has to find a way to earn money. Then, when most of the children turn 18, the three main competitions begin.
