Riley is a perpetual community college student who works at her family's restaurant. She always answers any question with "it's complicated" especially when it comes to family members inquiring about her love life. But because of a cupcake favor that leads to a blind date, the family restaurant, her nosy cousins and a new employee things really do get complicated.
(Author's Note: the first portion of this story was written several years ago. For fun I decided to post it on here and play with it in order to see what happens. There will be a sudden shift in writing style after chapter 7 from the time difference, but I'll do my best to try to keep Riley's voice the same.)
