This poem is about deciding to make a change in your life: when you finally decide to cross the divide. When you've grown tired of being hurt and letting people hurt you, and you stand up for who you are. When you finally become the captain of your life and pilot your way to accomplish your dreams. Most importantly, this poem is about getting back up when you are knocked down and being confident in yourself. Never let anyone tell you what you can do or who you are. I hope this poem is an inspiration to all who read it to have the courage to be yourself.

This is a personal documentation through poetry. I am learning to look inward now, give myself love when I least want to. I do not live to love others, I live to love myself. I will find and create what is enough for me, and you will learn to let it be enough for you. 2022
